Single Garage Doors
To ensure that your doors fit perfectly, we will need a few measurements.
- Standard Single Door Width 2440 mm
- Standard Height 2100 mm
- Side Room a minimum of 150 mm is recomended
- Headroom a minumum of 350 mm is recommended
- Depth into Garage a minimum of 2100 mm is recomended
- If you have two single garage doors, a minimum of 300 mm is recommended between the two doors.
Important notes:
You need to ensure that there are no obstructions in the path of the door opening ( Depth into Garage ) and that there is a minumum of 2100mm unobstructed space to allow the garage door to open correctly.
If the roof of your garage is angled, ensure that there is a minimum of 450 mm lintel/headroom clearance at the lowest point.
We will also need 150 mm on either side of the opening as the door is always wider than the opening.
